Many log structures in our area have been abandoned long ago (like the one in yesterday's post). But the log home posted today is still lived in and loved.

@vickisfotos In order to bring them up to current building code, it is cost prohibitive... difficult to install electricity, plumbing, heating and air, custom fit windows, problems with termites and many do not have adequate foundations. There are some new log homes built, but the re-sell market is limited and not always a good investment. Thanks for your kind words!
