Your photos are all so beautiful, Cathy. And you are using a simple point-and-shoot? I live in PA, where we have mountains and nice scenery too, but my pictures do not do the same justice to the natural beauty that yours do. I think I need to take a class, lol.
This is so serene and yet beautiful with the soft colors. I wondered the same thing as Anne, what point and shoot camera are you using to get such beautiful photo's? I guess I could look up DMC-ZR3 and see who makes it? But like this picture, was their a certain setting you used for it?
@granny7 ...sometimes I use a sunset mode to saturate the colors in the camera... but it wasn't quite light enough when I first began shooting this morning.
@paulat10 I think you are right... should be lighter. I only process using Picasa at the moment, so fill light or highlight is about it. The fill light made everything too light, losing the the contrast needed for the fog to show up. Planning to purchase Lightroom in the near future and hopefully a new camera. I will try to re-edit with a new program in the near future! We just paid for our son's last semester of college... Yay!!! (Of course, now he is talking about graduate school!)
@paulat10 I will. I have already had someone offer a tutorial. I re-edited and lightened a bit and posted it in my extras album, working with what I have for now. Thank you for your help!
This is really beautiful enlarged. I like the way the sun is lighting up the trees on top of the mountain to the left. Love the mist, and colors. I prefer this one.
I like everything about this.
