Leaves were still on the trees in the lower elevations, more color as we climbed a little higher, leaves mostly gone at the uppermost elevations. Near Whitetop Mountain, Southwest Virginia.

Beautiful! We passed through there the other day. The fall color in the mountains was gorgeous. I didn't really have time to take pictures, though, because I was driving.
