Reflections in the Quarry

This pond was created when they hit water while digging in a rock quarry. I am told that it filled so quickly that the men working there escaped with their lives, leaving all equipment behind. I understand it is more than a hundred feet deep. Years ago, before it was fenced off people would scuba dive there... said the fish were bigger than men! The water is always that lovely shade of blue-green. Although the trees look particularly lush, the water level is down, as you can see by the layer of rock exposed on the rim.
So drawn to the wonderful greens in the water. Wonderfully captured.
