The lady who owns the wildflower farm we were touring (about 25 people) had made mason jars filled with sweet pea and a packet of cosmos seed to plant for each of us, along with some dahlia tubers. This jar was sitting on the front porch of the homeplace on an old barrel. Guess the dried pods or seeds had come from a nearby tree some time ago.
