A first for us... a black bear in the yard. My husband took this cell phone pic from our kitchen window as I wasn't home. (We're working on a downspout hence the black flexible pipe.) Not sure if it is a photo illusion or if the bear is missing a paw and has a 'peg leg'. Barry said if he (she) was missing a foot, he (she) must have had good rehab because he (she) sure could run!
Must have been the day for bears. Ozark had one in town today in a backyard tree across from the school bus garage and Fayetteville had two downtown. They seem to be young and hunting for food.
