Filler photo. No need to comment or even bother reading my random thoughts. Looking east from my front yard. I always thought I would live out my days here, but upkeep of a 37 year old house and 6 acres may be too difficult as we continue to age. Plus for the first time ever, politics in our state are beginning to infringe on too many freedoms and we may feel forced to leave. Our son is moving out of a condo we own in a neighboring state, so we might just have to keep it instead of selling it. Sad days.
You have such a beautiful home. I imagine it does take a lot of care for 6 acres. It has been a long time since we had 5 acres. I, too, am feeling the pressure of politics. It is sad. I hope things calm down after the election.
@jgpittenger We had planned a major remodel but seems there are always obstacles. But after a week, I have hot water once again! So yay for that. I can take a shower! I guess I am gonna have to look at the little victories and less at the worries on the horizon. Thanks for your thoughts.
