An afternoon drive took us by Backbone Rock. There is a hiking trail along the top of the cliff. The sign says it is a 5.3 mile hike. I’d like to go back when it is warmer and I’m properly dressed to hike. Cold today!
It does look like a nice hike. I love al those brick bridges and structures. The curved road makes me wanna see what is on the other side of the tunnel.
@milaniet@dutchothotmailcom Thanks ! I should look up a little history before returning for a hike. I just assumed they dig through the rock to create a tunnel for the road but I’m just guessing!
