This photo was taken in happier and healthier times. This man raised the man I love. My dear father-in-law has been in declining health for the past couple of years, the past months especially difficult. God mercifully answered his prayers, which have been almost constant in recent days, for God to take him Home. We will continue to love and miss him, but rejoice that for the follower of Christ, he is in his heavenly home with his Savior, reunited with loved ones who went ahead of him. Until we meet again.
