Don't look down!

A half mile walk down to Clovelly Harbour... followed by a half mile walk back up!!!

This camera phone photo doesn't really do the scale justice, and I am gutted I don't have my normal camera. There were so many quaint fisherman's cottages, flowers and donkeys! Classic picturesque Devon. :)

Oh, scary drop off, but love the shape of the jetty and the boats pulled up on the edge of the water. Very pretty scene.

Awww, but still a great pic. Love the Little Red Riding Hood coat. It's the half mile walk back up that I'd worry about :)

I walked down the steep cobbles to Clovelly harbour when I was eighteen. It sounds just the same now from your description. Love the overview of the harbour and that little red coat is a nice addition.
