Next door have a house martins nest. I have been watching them from my bedroom window. Mum and Dad are constantly fetching flies for them to eat. The work that has gone into the nest is amazing. They make me feel like a rather lazy mother!!
We used to have barn swallows that built a mud nest in the ceiling of our porch. They returned year after year. But, we had to repaint and they ended up moving somewhere else.......great pic!
That's really very cool. Interesting synchronicity - I just noticed (as in ten minutes ago) that we have a small sparrow's nest on our house. Not really picture material due to location.
