Painful hand

This arthritic hand belongs to my mum. After so many years of caring for her children and grandchildren her hands begin to show the wear of all the love she has given. I love you Mum x

Great tribute for her. Hands have been around a lot for me this week too. An elderly, bereaved mother, her daughter-in-law, her grandsons. Hands are so expressive, especially when people don't have the words to say what they feel.
