Watched an awesome sunrise over the North Sea this morning, my last one in Felixstowe before heading back west. To the right of the sun, what looks like some aquatic metropolis rising out of the sea, is, I guess, anchored container ships waiting for berth at the Port of Felixstowe to unload their goods. The news is that the port has a backlog of containers to ship out via road, sea and rail.
I like the way this shot silhouettes the sea and the solitary wind turbine. Although you can only see one in this photo, there are many wind turbine farms out to sea off the this part of the Suffolk coast, visible from shore on a clear day.
