Storm Eunice buffeted our region for most of the day. This little blackbird took shelter on the pyracantha in my garden (as it's positioned between two taller shrubs, so more protected from the wind), and was there for some time. He wasn't even minded to fly away when I came out to take some photographs so I was able to get quite close and get a few snaps, for which he posed quite gracefully, I thought.
