This Year's Offering

Poor thing doesn't know how condemned it is! I have said this before, I buy a Poinsettia every year & every year it is dead by February! Lets see how well this one gets on!
All the others that were in Tesco will live until April. This one is doomed.

A pretty plant - I no longer buy Poinsettias as I find our house is too warm for them and they soon shed their leaves !

@30pics4jackiesdiamond I think I probably water them too much & then not enough when trying to compensate for my previous mistake!!

@beryl but Beryl they flourish in hot places like the canaries, where they grow like weeds.....

Ha ha, you are doing better than me! I was telling Jackie yesterday that mine has not lasted a week yet, I forgot to water it because I didn't want to over water it and I am already doing CPR to make it look less wilted!

I was once told that they hate draft so it is probably nothing to do with the buyer but how they have been stored and transported by the sellers. My late mother-in-law used to have an artificial one and it was the most real looking plant I have ever seen. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

So pretty. Mine usually go out to the trash when I take down the decorations.
