Swan, up close

A cold walk in Hartsholm Park today, according to notices it is the time of year when Swans claim their territory. This one was very near the bank & didn't shoo us off when we approached. Not sure if it didn't move because of the ice & couldn't, or if it was poorly, though it didn't look poorly! Anyway it was very obliging for a photo shoot!
