Bitter sweet day today. On the one hand saying goodbye to an old work colleague & friend,who recently passed away & on the other, meeting up with some other old work colleagues that I haven't seen for probably about 20 years.
Despite those 20 years, no one had really changed that much & we al had a good laugh - If Lyn had been there, she would no doubt have been the instigator of much of that laughter!
So, having said the Lords Prayer & sung a hymn today, this picture of a statue from Lincoln Cathedral seemed appropriate.
I have the same image Carole that I posted earlier this week, though my version is cropped for the child. It is such a peaceful statute, one can't help but be drawn to it. Such a sad day for you but I'm sure meeting old friends and sharing memories of Lynn helped you all through it. Lovely image. The cathedral is such a beautiful place 😊
