Red Roof Village by carole_sandford

Red Roof Village

We had a wander around the very pretty village of Hackthorn today. This is in the centre, taken from the village Hall car park. I liked the different levels of the roofs & the rustic feel to the place & only a ten or so minutes ride away from home!
Such a charming cluster of houses -- I love the higgledy piggery of the houses , all shapes , designs and heights but all look to be white-washed with the red tiled roofs . A nice presentation Carole !

Is this Hackthorn in Lincolnshire? If it is we lived near there many many years ago at RAF Scampton.

Lovely rustic buildings. It’s nice that it is close so you can visit often. Do they have nice restaurants? A nice dinner and an evening stroll would be wonderful.

@louannwarren no restaurant i’m Afraid, this is particularly rural & doesn’t even have a shop or a pub! Neighbouring villages do though. Thanks for your continued support.
