The Newcomer

The Magnolia seems to be last tree losing its leaves in the garden, though they too are falling fast. Despite one cycle ending though, a new one is already beginning, with these furry buds which will remain like this on the tree until next Spring. The wonders of nature!

Great shot - seems strange a new one coming as soon as the old ones fall. Love magnolias. My sis has one and when it flowers we can almost guarantee wind to blow them off.

I just realized yesterday, while looking our Magnolia Trees, that where every leaf is/was, there is a bud! So, the buds replace the leaves. I have had the trees for 21 years and never noticed before...the camera has changed that, Carole.
