Storm Georgina! by carole_sandford

Storm Georgina!

When I got up at 5.30am for work, it was very windy & was later followed by torrential rain. As I pulled off the drive in the dark I could see that a fence panel was damaged. On returning from work, in the light, this is the sight that greeted me - a job for Phil I think when he is home!
Many thanks for yesterday’s comments & views.
I thought it must have been a fence panel when I first saw this. Must have taken a good blast to damage a feather edge like this 😮 Hope we get to see a pic of your man at work 😊

@paul10 it was rather rough. Not sure if it’s something Phil can do, or if we will need to get someone to do it!

Oh my! Well I know what Phil will do when he gets home! Beautiful green grass on your lawn!

@paul10 I’ll send you a pic of me telephoning a man to mend the fence. It won’t be me 😜😜

Ooh ! dear , Georgina has been rather rough with your fence hasn't she !! One of my concrete planters holding a fir tree was toppled over this morning , and the roof of my arbour looks the worse for wear !

Poor you and poor Phil! We seem to have escaped quite lightly down here - or am I tempting fate?

Must have been windy!

That must have been some storm. I'm glad it wasn't worse.

Oh, my goodness! That must have been an extremely strong wind to damage your fence panel like this. I'm sure that must have been so frustrating to arrive home to this sight. :-(
I had to smile when I read Phil's reply to Paul's comment. :-)

That must have been a mean storm to create so much damage.

Oh dear :(

Oops, I suppose it could have been worse, but still a job for Phil.

@phil_sandford. Don't blame you mate. Think I'd do the same thing 😀

You certainly had some wind there! Thankfully it doesn't look too hard to mend.
