Castle Square

A bit of a dismal day as you can see. We had to go into Lincoln this morning, so decided have a wander around the Cathedral/Castle area after having a sandwich in one of the many eating establishments in this tourist area.Lots of old buildings of interest as you can see.

It's the variety of colours that draws my eye. I have not been to Lincoln, though a pal who attends a camera club near here went with the whole club for a weekend last year and loved it. Looks like it is worth a visit.

Thanks all, Lincoln is a historic city, dating back to Roman times in some areas, but we also have our fair share of 1960’s & 1970’s monstrosities too!
