Didn't get chance to upload a picture yesterday. This was taken on the way back to the car when we were leaving Phil's reunion. It was built around 1600 & was reputedly the birth place and home of Bishop Beveridge, a respected scholar in the 17th century. It is stone built, but it looks as if it has had bits added throught the years. The road it stands in is called Beveridge Street. Had a bit of renewed interest in Barrow upon Soar lately as I found out that my maternal great grandmother was born there, on a street at the top of this road.
