Heckington Mill by carole_sandford

Heckington Mill

The only surviving 8 sail Mill’s left in the country! Restored with lottery money & local support.
They are not milling at the moment , as one of the gears has broken & it sometime next year when the millwright can finally fix it. There are not many millwrights left either & those that there are , are incredibly busy!
What a lovely building! You’ve captured it beautifully

A really very interesting visit. Fabulous old building (shame we’re not really eating bread these days or I’d have bought 1/2 a kilo of their flour.
