When I took the kids to Hartsholme last week, we took some monkey nuts in their shells for the squirrels. This one had run off with nut & sat on this tree stump.
Nice squiggle. In camera club we're been "doing" wildlife, and had a link to Ethics of Wildlife Photography to read. Baiting ( taking food) not allowed but how else are you going to get the critters to come??!! I totally got not killing, chilling, drugging or restraining them though.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond to be fair, these squirrels are relatively tame, they interact with humans on a daily basis & will come to you without bait. But i think if you can give them a suitable treat, then why not (& the kids like to feed them). No different to feeding the ducks ( though obviously we arenât supposed to give them bread these days - Connor even said to me,âNanny they have bread & ducks shouldnât eat bread!â Said loudly of courseđ
The other things , drugging trapping etc wouldnât even enter my head, but Iâm well aware there are unscrupulous people about!
Bokehliciousness on my screen đ¤Ł
