A grab shot through the car window. Today we have travelled to Cornwall. This was taken from the passenger seat , around the Dorchester area. Quite spectacular, hills & vales, which it is nice to see as Lincolnshire is relatively flat. It was a little hazy, but you can still see the detail.
@happypat there is a glacial ridge that runs either side of Lincoln, with Lincoln itself being in a bowl. Then as you head towards the coast there are the Lincolnshire Wolds, which aren’t flat either. But, compared to this view it is definitely somewhat flat 🤣
@carole_sandford I have only been to Lincolnshire once & that was on the way home from a wedding in Norfolk. We stopped off in Lincoln & I was amazed at the steep streets up to the cathedral. I had my leg in a boot as I had just had the plaster off my broken leg.
I walked all the way to the top only to se a bus we could have taken!
Have always thought of visiting this part of the UK but never found the time to do so. Your capture brings back the urge to go. So beautiful and so lush.
