This was the nicest house I ever looked round! The first place to be lit by hydroelectric power! I once opened a cupboard in the kitchen & the alarm went off, I was mortified! Someone came running! The gardens are amazing too, so steep. Thanks for reminding me Carol!

Cragside was so impressive that we rejoined the NT after a day there. We cycled from the campsite and had a days entertainment in house and grounds.
