John and I went for a walk and drink by the Grand Union Canal yesterday.The sun had re-appeared and it was a lovely balmy summer evening.Narrowboat people were sitting on the towpath and chatting to passers-by.A lovely relaxing atmosphere all around.

A nice pub by the canal, a nice evening to enjoy both .. all you need are some Morris dancers to shatter the peace. ;-)

I do envy you your English pubs, nothing quite like them here. And most of the very few venues here with a water aspect are to be avoided unfortunately. A very inviting shot.
