EXTRAS: After the storm by casablanca

EXTRAS: After the storm

Bit of a storm here last night and although the rain and highest winds have gone, the sea is still choppy and hitting the rocks higher and harder.

This is near Penninis Head where the lighthouse is on St Mary's. Huge cliff, gloriously huge wave impact.
a magnificent capture of the elements, stunning splash and water colour. Fabulous shaped rocks, fav!

For this "Quite incredibly perfect" Wave-against-Cliff encounter, this should have faves all over it! How many of us try, but don't do this quite as well!

Great capture of the rough sea. We had the storm last night but it carried on for most of the day here. The sea is a dull brownish grey reflecting the dark sky we have. Fav!

Denise is one of my 365 friends from Australia, and I asked her advice for how to photograph waves before we went to Alaska. She said, "Never turn your back," and I didn't. Here is her most recent entry: https://365project.org/gilbertwood/365/2018-07-29
