EXTRAS: Keeping it in perspective

This is David Hockney's work "Seven Trollies, Six and a Half Stools, Eleven Paintings and Two Curtains" which is currently part of the 250th Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts in London.

It messes with your head because the perspective is all deliberately slightly off. It is a blend of the same photos added repeatedly and classes as "photographic drawing."

I have to say I found it quite fascinating to stare at for a good few minutes!
I like David Hockney and this is fascinating.

I see what you mean with the perspective slightly off. Interesting shot.

I think this is purely a folly of Hockney!

One can only say interesting regarding the perspective.

@ludwigsdiana I am rarely at home in an art gallery. I think it is often a case of “The King’s New Clothes.” People umm and aah and ooh and I usually think “what is that all about?” I only went because some friends did and found so many quirky items in there. I will post some of the fun things in the next few days.

So interesting! I'd love to see it.

I think this would send me cross eyed if I looked at it for too long.

Now this would probably give me a headache because I would be itching to square things up 😃 I do like a bit of symmetry 😉

I love the way you've shown the captivated lady! And I can see why she's so interested.

Oh, I really like this. I love the captivated lady too. Nicely seen and captured.
