@paul10 no Paul they were completely exposed to the public view and in fact there were at least a dozen of other youngsters hanging in the shop, the ice cream parlour more "in" of town

@mbrutus This is a song that is part of the Italian pop culture. Everybody knows it and (like your memory of the arrival on the moon) it is tied to a romantic memory for me. On the 29th of September of many years ago, right out of class, at the University, one of my classmates presented me with this record (a small 45's)...and a small portable record player to listen to the record right away. I married him!

@caterina that is a lovely story. So romantic. I feel sorry for all of the young men who bought you records without the small portable record players. They will never know how this missed out. It is funny how we can build and carry associations wth particular songs. But I don't even remember telling my moon story on 365. Now you have me wondering how that ever came up. But I will never forget that night.
