This is on the wall of a furniture warehouse in an industrial area of Richmond. A bit of whimsy that I just couldn’t resist shooting.
Today marks my 30th day in 365Project. One month down, 11 to go. I haven’t missed a day yet, although I’ve come close a couple of times. I try to make a photograph each day that I can be proud of. I don’t always pull it off but as I look back at the 30 images I’ve made so far there are only 3 or 4 that I would like to have done a better job and none that I am ashamed of. Thank you 365 community for your inspiration and motivation. Joining this group was one of the best things I have done as a photographer and it has fuelled my creativity more than I could have hoped. I look forward to the next eleven months and beyond.
October 2023 - Beginning year 4. This wonderful community keeps me inspired and motivated to keep creating every day.

Well done. I have been on 365 for 10 years (almost) now. I don't post my shots the next day any more but I chose from the many I take during previous days. I like the clarity of your shot and it works fine in b&w.
What a delightful mural. 365 is fabulous. I've been here for five and half years and haven't missed a day. My photography has definitely improved over that time.
Totally love this one, especially since everyone in my family is rather partial to steam trains. It's a great mural and you captured it beautifully. It is fascinating looking back at previous images, isn't it? I'm coming to the end of my 4th year on here and I only meant to do one! Some images I love, others less so, but it is all a learning experience. But now I don't worry if I miss a day here and there. The project is for me, not me for the project. Loving your pictures.
@casablanca Thanks Cas. I’m not going to obsess about missing a day here and there, I know real life will intrude once in a while, but I’ll try to take at least one image every day for the first year. It is a challenge I have set for myself and joining this community was a way to keep me motivated and on track. It has been great fun so far and I enjoy seeing everyone else’s images. Thanks for all your thoughtful comments and the follow, I do appreciate it. Cheers from Richmond BC
