Walking the Dog

While out walking my dog I was struck by the lines present here so stopped to take a shot but wasn’t really happy with what I saw on the LCD screen. This fellow came up behind me, stopped to let his dog say hello to mine, then went on his way. I took another shot. That’s what was missing! The human element. It made all the difference.
Lovely shot with wonderful curving leading lines. That fellow seems so hunched up against the cold ;-)

I agree, the walker does make it more interesting.

Not to mention that his right leg follows the bend of the other lines.
Indeed, the human element is so effective. I gives dimension and puts things into perspective. Not to mention that in this particular shot, it creates a story.

I can see how the man and his dog would add to the view. There is a mood of perseverance in this photo.

A good strong subject can often help. The curving lines are very nice also.
