Just a weed that is flowering in my lawn but beauty is everywhere if you look for it. I was too low to the ground for a tripod so this is hand held. I was trying very hard to focus on the stamen. It took several attempts. The yellow backdrop is provided by buttercups, also growing in my lawn. You’d be forgiven if you thought my lawn is full of weeds. For 30 Days Wild.

@randystreat I’ve not seen Jo’s work so any similarity is coincidental but I freely admit to being inspired by Canadian photographer Freeman Patterson whose work I greatly admire.
