London's Landing, Fraser River by cdcook48

London's Landing, Fraser River

These piles are all that remain of a wharf built in 1885 and known as London's Landing. It was located about 1 1/2 miles upriver from Steveston fishing village and serviced the farming community established on the fertile soil of Lulu Island which is now the city of Richmond.
Beautiful capture and mood, love all the birds on the piles. Hope there was still place for those in the water.
