Smith Corona

A secretary's desk in the office of the woodworking section at Britannia Shipyards. This National Historic site is, as @ludwigsdiana suggested, a goldmine for photography. I never tire of wandering around the site with my camera.
Great find and capture...love the lighting and dusty look...I watching an old series called "Mad Men" that takes place in the 60's. Lots of nostalgia for the old days.

This is a real blast from the past. I wonder what they would make of technology these days.

Another fabulous find and shot. I wonder how many of the youngsters know what those machines are ;-)

LOVE this. We had a phone like that. Our Bakelite one was racing green. Loved using the dial and letting it fall back with that characteristic whirr. I learned to type on a typewriter just like that too.....

A fabulous find! It looks like the person seating at this desk is about to come back...

Great look back in time. Typing was a much more physical job back in those days.
