This is a first for me, reaching back into the archives for a shot, but since I’ve also posted a shot in my main album that I took today I’ll allow myself to do it. This shot, which has always been one of my favourites, was taken in November 2013 on a trip to Fiji. My wife and I were staying in a small resort on the coast and a busload of school children arrived from the interior to spend a couple of days. Believe it or not, these two young girls had never seen the ocean before. We chatted with them and some of their friends for awhile and they allowed me to take their picture. I’m tagging it for owo-4 because today’s prompt is black and white portrait. The original was in colour but I have converted it to b&w for owo.
