Another shot from my visit to the conservatory yesterday. An unusual bird I had never heard of before. A bit of colour in the tail feathers but other than that, completely grey.

Great shot! African Greys are awesome. They are extremely smart, highly skilled at learning human speech, and incredible mimics. They can also live up to 60 years.

THis looks like an inverted selective colour use, as usually the subject is in colour and the area around is desaturated. It is so interesting that its tail is red.
