My thanks to all of you for your comments on my new great grandson's photos from yesterday. I am so behind right now on my thank yous and comments between babies and ball games.
I know his face is shaded by the cap but what are you going to do in full sun? We went to the Cincinnati Reds game this afternoon. One of my friends from church gave me tickets. Sean Casey was inducted into the Reds Hall of Fame and it was his bobble head day for a sell out crowd. I took my point and shoot with me and got a few shots of the kids. For free tickets it sure was an expensive afternoon. We took a back pack full of peanuts, water and candy. But what Papa can not buy the cotton candy from the vendor or pass on a brat? And of course Garrett needed the big Red's finger thingie and Noah had to have a baseball. We had a wonderful time and saw the Reds beat the Twins. I think they are in 1st place. I spent most of my time laughing at the kids.
Great shot of a full cotton candy face! I agree with Katy that the contrast of the light and shadows adds to the shot rather than detracts from it... :)
@grammyn Thanks for saying that about the shadows. Gave me a whole new way to view it. @marilyn Thanks Marilyn. You two think alike! @marlboromaam That is a sticky little face. @vskolnik Thanks Vee - I think he is. @pawar_ramesh Thanks Ramesh, @grannysue Thanks Linda. @redrucksack He is my little sweetie, @sangwann Thank you Dione. @tishpics I hope the kids always remember the things we do with them. @soboy5 It doesn't get much better than this.
