I never paid as much attention to light as I have this year - a new appreciation.
I have another cold, and sightly overcast day here. I know I have to think of what I am going to do with myself this winter photographically and right now I at a bit of a loss. I should have cut the hydrangea blooms and dried them - but, as usual, I forgot. All the blooms are curling inward trying to protect themselves from the inevitable.....
Beautiful capture. Such an unusual POV and so effective. The colour is glorious and I love your background. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into this.
Gorgeous capture, Cathy. As you are, I have been paying much more attention to light in my photography this year and it makes such a positive difference. After all, the definition of photography is "the art, science and practice of creating durable images by recording light". The light (and the composition) is what it is all about!
Love the way they're changing colour! The shortening days and longer nights always cause problems for me. Guess we just have to get creative with other forms of light.
Lovely light and yes I think we all notice much more now.............what an education 365 is!! Love your focus and colours on your fading hydrangea and yes winter will not be so easy...have to be creative !!
