Thank you all for laughing with me at my dogs yesterday. They are my Springtime until it comes. It is so very gray here - unrelenting right now.
I went to a Lenten lunch yesterday. We rotate the around the different churches in my community. The women of the congregation bought flowers to decorate the tables. They were just going to leave them! Seeing my eying the tulips longingly, they offered them up. By the time I got them home a few were losing some petals. I often take a shot down into a flower. But her we are with a great opening for a side few. So, a little tulip porn - or, the textures of the pistil and stamen!
I had to go to the camera store this morning. I was looking at a Sigma 150-500. I want it! But it is heavy - at least for me. Anybody have one?
Incredible detail Cathy.... looks almost sugar-dipped and the black bits look like charcoal. Must go and have a closer look at my half-dead tulips....!
