As you can see it is another overcast afternoon. But I have flowers - and there is no better depiction of Spring (the word of the day in my hemisphere) for me than a flower. I read something once, to paraphrase, that flowers are God laughing. I agree.
I had a super morning. My prior neighbor called me and I met her and her crew - Joseph, an adorable three year old that calls me Miss Cathy, and Thomas and Kate, her 7 month old twins. We actually went to lunch with all of the little ones in tow. It was a riot. Twins cause a sensation and these two were doing there best to make life look easy for their young Mom. She is so calm and level headed that they are calm. Oh, they had their moments - but that just means I got to hold and rock. We even got to eat and just kept passing them around. I know I should have taken the camera - now that I know how easy of a time we had I will do so next time.
