Balls by cdonohoue

Balls

The word of the day was basketball. So why am I sharing a collection of dog toys? I was so sure that the kids had a basketball. But, of course, now that I go to look for it this is all I can find - well, a portion of their many treasures. Which they pay no attention to until I am trying to gather them up to get this throw away shot. The good news is that I took a shot today. The bad news - this is it.

I went to the doc this morning - I guess the hip is staying put for now. He thinks the trouble is my old nemesis - my back. Then I went shopping for Baby Bear and sat in a two hour meeting about the church. One fellow that I met today is really into old stuff - and do we ever have decades of it. So we walked the church and he picked out some things I would have thrown away and said that he would buy them. So, another job to do. We are moving ever closer to the answers.
Now there is a photo Ladybug and Mr. Spock will both love!

Very colourful. Love the shapes in this.

You have quite the collection! I'm sure Maggie would love to get her paws and teeth on those... I think we used to have the purple one, but I have no idea what happened to it. She will chew up nearly everything we give her, but we have found two balls and one other toy that have survived her razor teeth and bulldog (though she is a mini-doxie) jaws. The balls are actually the middle part of a Busy Buddy Bouncy Bone and so far are the only balls we have found that she doesn't chew up and she loves to play fetch with them. I like the looks of that multi-colored ball... is the rubber in it really hard to stand up to razor teeth and bulldog jaws? And, if so, where did you get it?

Well it may not be a basketball but it is a fantastically clear shot and there is a ball in there! Well done

Nice colors on them!

Now the other word is "sport" so these balls apply- at least in the world of dogs they do. You throw, they run- it's a great sport! The one with the teeth looks pretty wild! And I like the colors (which I'm sure is more for the humans who buy them since dogs are color blind, right?).

I like the shapes and colors. And I could go into the next room and probably compose a similar shot with all of the baby toys on the floor.

Thats a nice shot, lots of colour and clarity......Chuck is one lucky dog....

Yepโ€”it's a well-composed, colorful, clearly focused shot, and my Denny would be all over them in a heartbeat.

Cool! My dogs have the green one... and the colourful knot did not last more than 10 minutes! Great shot! Love the composition and colours.

So funny - dogs the world over have the same toys!! Bertie has had all of those except the blue ball! Nicely done Cathy!

Wonderful. Our cats have countless balls and never deign to play with them whereas dogs couldn't be happier than with any ball as long as it is mouth sized and upwards and is being rolled, thrown or kicked for the dog's amusement!

Well done! Did you wash them first? I tried a shot like this once, but the toys were so covered with hair and drool and other "stuff" that I deleted it!

Wonderful colours and textures :)

Nice collection! I'm pretty sure my dog would destroy some of those - she loves to rip apart her toys.
