Today's phrase is looking down. Well, I don't remember if the package called these Drowsy Daffodils but I do. The head is so heavy that it is always pointed at the ground - and really doesn't look much like a daffodil. But they are one of my favorites in the garden. They are that early bloomer when I am so hungry for flowers and they are showy - even if you do have to get on your hands and knees to get a good look at them.
