Just Because

Tom buys me roses for Mother's Day. Not a bouquet - the entire bush. This year I picked out two. This one is just beautiful - outstanding color. The other one smells like licorice and lemons - it really does. I love them so very much.
We had a great day. Andy and Gina and her kids were here for a picnic. It is so chilly (we have a frost warning) that we sat by the fire pit drinking wine. It doesn't get much better than that.

I hope that you all had good Mother's Days. Mothers come in lots of packages. Some give birth, some bring you into their families, some are our best friends that Mother us when we really need it. So, Happy Mother's Day to all kinds of Mothers.
