I love this time of year. I love the colors and the feel of the air. I went to Spring Grove and wandered around for a couple of hours looking for light that caught my attention. These leaves were high on the list. I also saw my first funeral cortege today - after all this time. I also saw a deer. He let me take all kinds of shots of him - he was also a first. You can't be there and wander all those acres of tombstones without being touched by them. I spend a lot of my time there in prayer - out loud! Who is going to hear me except God? I pray about all sorts of things - more conversation maybe than prayer. I am always very aware that I am on sacred ground.
When I got home today I had a very uplifting email and then talk with our realtor about the building that we want to make into our church! That felt like answered prayer.
