I don't think that many of us want our hands removed - but have I ever got the tool for you!
I am working on a project that had me going through my Dad's old watchmaker's bench that he built himself. I love it. Every drawer is full of things that his hands had touched at some point or other. I don't think there are many watchmakers any more. We all buy digital, put in a battery and trade the old watch in for a new one in nothing flat. It is a dying craft.
@grammyn Ashley is doing fabulous!! I got to see her over the weekend. She is handling it well and she looks great. By the time they finish and a little make up you will never know. Nancy is not doing well at all. They just moved her into a nursing home as she is too weak to move her legs at all. They had her in the hospital rehab part but she basically flunked out. Thank you so very much for keeping my prayer requests in your heart.
@cdonohoue They are still in my prayers too, Cathy! I couldn't remember if I spelled Ashley's name right, hence the (?) after her name! Glad to hear she is doing so well! I know Nancy really appreciates your friendship and concern right now.
At first with the name presto, I thought it was for removing the lid of a pressure cooker! You will treasure these small items from your fathers tools!
Fascinating - didn't know they made a special tool to do that!
I must admit I had visions of gruesome operating theatres until I read your caption. :-D
