I took a picture yesterday - and then the world fell apart. My ex husband was found dead by one of his sisters. It is a long, sad story of depression and heart disease. I have no idea what I'll be doing the next several days, but the first step is the coroner. I may be here, and I may not.
This truck is perfect for David. When I fell in love with him when we were 18 years old he was rebuilding an engine - and fire would come out the top. He loved cars.
I found this old truck sitting at the side of the road in the Utah desert. Doesn't look like it had many takers.
Oh a sad story Cathy....so many memories connect you so even if you hadn't seen him for a while you are so connected. Strange you took this photo today which gave you thought of David. Heartfelt sorrow for you & all his family.

My deepest and heartfelt condolences are sent to you Cathy. Death has a lot of sorrow even under "good" circumstances. But something like this can really throw you for a loop. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
A delightful old rust bucket and at some stage in its life probably someone's pride and joy. I am so sorry to hear of your loss Cathy. Thinking of you and your family.
A sad photo and a sad event in your life. Distressing even though you were not together! I guess his condition had something to do with that but your feelings might still be the same! Take heart from all these wonderful comments from your friends!
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers to and your family. Your story of the truck is such a sweet memory to hold you in this time of grief.
Love and prayers to you!!! This is a wonderful capture to remember him. Even though he was your ex husband he was a big part of your life and your boys lives. Take good care of yourself!
I am working backwards and just arrived at your sad announcement. It is a profound loss no matter what ultimately transpired. So many memories and your children bind you together forever. My sympathy for having to face this.
