I had a night last night! And it was a good one. We went to the Aerosmith concert at Riverbend. It was over 90 degrees when we got there to see the opening act - Slash, the guitarist for Guns and Roses. He has a boy child singer that sounds just like Axel Rose. It was just a night to remember.
Steven Tyler has been performing for almost 50 years - and his voice still hits the stratosphere. I love ROCK. That was my era and these are my people! I will say that I got busted at the gate for trying to take in bottles of water......They must not have done a very good job as the guys in front of us were getting stoned during the entire evening - as were many back on the lawn.
I saw folks of every age. Sometimes you just have to take a step back and remember where you came from.
@beckys Why thank you. Just because my numerical age is reaching the stratosphere doesn't mean that my mental age is living in the same far reaches of time. I still occasionally need to rock. Too bad the prices are so out of this world.
Maybe you should have put your water bottles in a bag of weed and you could have brought it right in! ;~}
