We went to a friend's mother's funeral this morning. We are that age - folks around us are leaving. It doesn't matter how old you are when you lose a parent. It is a huge loss. We saw a video montage of Elaine as a much younger and beautiful woman. We remember the lady that was always ready for company and would break out a deck of cards.
