Twofer

I am sitting here listening to my wind chimes predict the coming storm and weather pattern change and editing some shots of the garden. Obviously, the season is ending. I love Autumn and keep trying to at least have détente with Winter (Anna Jane's don't wish your days away). I really do play with the camera and had it down on the ground to take a shot of these incredibly cute little tiny ground cover mums that I bought the other day. It occurs to me that maybe today is about the leaf and not the bloom - at least that is what the camera decided to show me. A gorgeous deep green leaf - Foliage can be Fun. We can't all be the bloom - the beautiful flower needs the leaf to do most of the work of keeping it alive.
This is two shots stacked on top of each other. I should have put a line or something between them to delineate them.
Wonderful rich colours and textures Cathy.

I really like how the leaf in the top image seems to blend into the leaf in the lower image. Fabulous composition, Cathy!

Ah, Cathy - I do love your attitude! No, we can't all be the bloom. We leaves are pretty useful and decorative too, if I may say so myself.
